My loving asawa went to a fiesta in Guimaras yesterday. A neighbor and two nieces accompanied her. I stayed home to babysit my father-in-law. Finally, when it came time to visit the Sandman at nightfall, my partner told me of a relative that had been afflicted with Stage 4 prostate cancer.

“Rody,” not his real name, is the husband of one of my spouse’s close relatives. My wife hadn’t visited the family since last year’s fiesta. Consequently, my better half was quite shocked to hear that Rody, in his 60’s, had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate cancer.

“You need an immediate operation,” Rody’s doctor proclaimed. “Your cancer is already Stage 4.”

The physician also informed his ailing patient that the cancer had spread to his rib cage and spinal column. It was becoming increasingly difficult for the man to walk.

“I’m not going to have the operation, doc,” Rody replied.

The relative explained to my wife that he was too thin and knew that he wouldn’t survive any surgery.

So the man relied on his faith in God and his Savior, Jesus Christ, and prayed. Furthermore, Rody felt compelled to try a home remedy that consisted of shaved turmeric root and carrot juice along with the medication his doctor had prescribed.

No reason to throw out the baby with the bath water. Jesus, Himself, had Luke the Physician on His Twelve Apostles staff.

Along with the turmeric root that Rody mixed with his carrot juice, he also boiled a concoction of paragis (Goose grass) roots and guyabano leaves and drank that. We have both of those plants along with turmeric.

Months later Rody went back to his physician who did a series of tests and x-rays.

“It’s a miracle!” the doctor exclaimed.

Amazingly, the x-rays and tests had revealed that Rody’s prostate cancer had vanished!

He has to go in for check-ups every three months or so to make sure the cancer doesn’t return.

However, he’s up and walking around again and extremely grateful for his miracle in Guimaras.

As a result, my wife and I both went to sleep that night, thankful for our relative’s healing.

Also, here’s a YouTube video I found regarding paragis grass.
