The annual Binibining Pilipinas Beauty Pageant is a project of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI), a non-stock, non-profit organization founded by its chair, Stella Márquez Araneta. The pageant, BPCI’s primary instrument as it pursues its mission of spreading peace and love across the nation, is a fund-raising activity for projects that would benefit orphans, indigent families and other less fortunate members of Philippine society.
Apart from producing the country’s best beauties as representatives for various international competitions, BPCI has been a key partner in nation-building for over four decades, providing skills training, educational workshops, mission work, and other relevant services for the marginalized sectors of the community. Here’s a look at the 50 stunning pretty pinays that will be in the pageant (source: bpilipinas.com)
Here are the 50 Filipina beauties. Which ones are your favorite? I’ll list my top five personal pretty pinays at the end of this post.
MY TOP FIVE PICKS:
ZANDRA FLORES
ANNA CARMELA AQUINO
ANNA CARMINA ANTONIO
CHARMAINE ELIMA
CINDY MIRANDA
These beautiful Filipinas are my top five picks in the upcoming Binibining Pilipinas Beauty Pageant 2013. Listed in no particular order. I would be hard-pressed to pick my favorite out of the bunch. They are all gorgeous. Who’s your top five? Any of the ladies I have chosen? Leave a comment and express your opinion.
A lot of the photos didn’t load. The ones that did?? You are right Dave… I enjoy this post.
For you guys that don’t live here. I see ladies like these everyday walking down the street. NOT dressed like that but still very easy on the eyes. If you don’t have plans yet to move here to the Philippines what are you waiting for??????
The people here are so nice. I know Dave is treated the same as are many others. Sure beats the snow of Michigan. 😛
I’ll have to rework the post, Gary, if not all the images are loading, thanks for the info.
And you’re absolutely correct. I, too, see ladies as beautiful as these beauty contestants walking around the malls and streets of Iloilo City. And I am also treated very well by the folks here. Very friendly. Helpful. All around nice people. And I enthusiastically echo what Gary says, “If you don’t have plans yet to move here to the Philippines what are you waiting for??????”
Wow. Your first two, Zandra and Anna are my faves. Clearly I like darker skin tones. But my goodness, they are all beautiful.
Don’t tell my fiance I said that, huh?
Rest assured, I’ll zip my lip, Dave W. However Gary makes a good point. But if your fiance is like my asawa, she doesn’t read my crap anyway. 🙂
Gee Dave W. You just told everyone on the internet, how will you fiance not find out??? 🙂
😯 😯
wow Dave,
they are all beautiful, i like all Anna’s name, Filipina beauties
likes all over the world. when i was a kid, one of my dreams is
to become Ms. Philippines lol, but i’m not lucky aside i’m a short woman, no beauty and no brain lol.
Don’t sell yourself short, Anne, no pun attended. PapaDuck is one lucky guy to have someone like you in his life. Btw, the Mr. Guimaras contest is going to be held at the Manggahan Festival in Guimaras on April 20. You can bet I didn’t enter it!
Before I even read any of the comments, I was thinking the exact same thing, you see these kind of beautiful ladies everywhere you go in the Philippines. I have never been anywhere in the world where you can see so many beautiful women just by going to a mall, walking down a street, or just driving around ,,, cities or out in the country, anywhere.
My plan is to hopefully retire in the next 5 years, and we will move their. I read many bloggers,(always click on here first everyday though) and want so much to move their. I just got home from their 3 weeks ago today, and miss it very much. I Know living their, and going their for 6 weeks vacation is 2 totally different worlds though, to wake up their one morning, and realize, hey, I live here, I cant go home,,this is my home kinda worries me though. Its a lot different than moving from Missouri to Virginia. VERY MUCH to plan, thats for sure, but we really would like to at least give it a try. Davao or Samal are both on the top of our short list of places to go their. Want to be away from all the heavyly congested areas, and roosters crowing (probably not possible, I know) but within a hour or so of malls and a good hospital, not getting any younger. Havnt been to your area yet though Dave, and anxiously awaiting hearing your stories as you buy your land and build your house their, but not as anxious as you are I am sure.
Just knowing though, that anywhere I go, I will see beautiful smiling and friendly ladies just like the ones above.
Bill, you’re right about all of the beautiful ladies here. Anyone that has ever visited the Philippines has seen them firsthand. And so friendly. Smiling. Sweet ladies. I’m fortunate to have been married to one for over 13 years now.
Good luck on your planned move. You’re wise to start planning and doing your research ahead of time. And you’re correct, also, about moving to the Philippines versus a move in the States. It’s a whole different world and culture here. And while vacationing gives you a small taste of what life here is, once you put your boots on the ground in the PH, you soon find yourself in a totally different reality. Mostly good. Some bad. But the good far outweighs the bad, in my books.
I’m always encouraged to hear from guys planning their moves. I can only encourage you to keep on reading and keep on researching, Bill. Lots of websites out there that deal with living in the Philippines. I always recommend my friend, Bob Martin’s site. Thanks for checking mine out.
It must have been tuff, but you did a good job.I like your top five picks.
Yeah, Wayne, it was a hard job, but somebody had to do it. 😀
i also have my pretty 5 filipina on bb pilipinas 2013
uno: Miss Charmaine elima
dos: Miss De Leonard
tres: Miss Miranda
quatro: Miss Fernandina Buquid
senco: Miss Pia
Great choices, Celoy. All of the ladies are beautiful. Miss Pia was also another top favorite of mine.
Nice choices. I am from Iloilo working as an accountant in Dubai and I cant believe I just spent the rest of my day-off just browsing and reading over your posts especially those pertaining to anything about Iloilo and coming from an expat’s perspective. You see, its been three years since I went home as I have been busy working in Qatar and now in Dubai. I am planning to go home this July and I just might bump into your usual SM trips as I am a frequent visitor of that mall myself. I had a wonderful time reading your posts as well as the comments from your readers and I look forward to your future escapdes in Iloilo and the rest of the Philippines. Ciao!
Thanks for checking out my website, Kim. I sincerely appreciate your support. As far as the ladies go, I forgot to mention that one of them, Maria Bencelle Bianzon, 23, hails from Iloilo City.
I hang out at SM City a lot, as you pointed out. Stop by and say “hello” if you see me there. Always glad to meet any of my readers. Have a great vacation and good luck in Dubai. Take care.
CJ, sorry about the smack on the noggin. My asawa sometimes carries her infamous bolo. Now that really would hurt if I got smacked by that. 😯
All of our asawas should be in that beauty contest, right, CJ? 😉
I agree Dave ALL of our asawas should be in a Beauty contest! I tell everyone that my wife’s sweetness is my weakness ;-)Hey, by the way HAPPY EASTER!!
Thanks, CJ. Happy Easter to you and yours. Take care.
Dave,
I would have to agree with CJ and You, Our Asawas/Fiances belong right there with all the beauty contestants. I just don’t understand why more people do not move there. Those beautiful ladies are there for the taking. I guess its there loss. Take care and have a nice Easter and enjoy your Easter Ham
I don’t get it either, PapaDuck. I think the Philippine Tourism Dept. should hire the whole lot of us, and throw in Gary Wigle. Folks, if you have never been to the Philippines, you don’t know what your missing. Come on over. The water’s fine. 🙂
Btw, PapaDuck. No Easter Ham. My next post will be part one of the most unusual Easter Sunday’s I have ever experienced.
Dave,
They are all Beautiful, It must have been hard to pick the top five.
Living in the Philippines is the most fun I have had since I fed my little brother to the pigs. That was great fun but it didn’t last very long…… now I am an only child. 😛
😯
Dave, they all look great! They look very fair skinned! hahahaha It’s taken a year and a half here in the USA, but I have actually gotten my wife to allow some sun to reach her skin and let nature darken her up. Those of you with Filipino wives or Fiancee’s know what I am talking about, they want nothing to do with dark, but here in the USA dark is in!!!
I agree, Lee, all of the ladies look amazing. My asawa has been back in the Philippines almost four years now and has a nice tan again. But you’re right, lots of Filipinas don’t like the tanned look. Personally, I think it looks great.
If I wanted a white woman I could have stayed in Michigan. A dark skin here tells everyone you are poor. A person’s color has nothing to do with who they are. Look to the heart…
Absolutely right, Gary, look to the heart. That’s how I chose my asawa. 🙂
Dave,
As you know, I have fair skin but I would love to have the beautiful tanned looking skin that everyone there has.
We all need to celebrate diversity and not judge anyone because of the color of their skin
Fearless Frank from Florida
Amen to that, Fearless Frank.
Btw, next Sunday I’ll have a cold one for you at the Manggahan Festival in Guimaras. The wife, however, has banned me from drinking Tanduay Rhum, however. I’m restricted to San Miguel Pale Pilsen. But your good friend Tom will be my drinking companion for the festivities. 😀
