My asawa was in the front passenger seat of our Aurora Blue Ford Ranger suffering from an extreme abdominal pain attack. The Provincial Hospital in Guimaras, our home province, was unable to deal with the medical emergency. We sprinted toward the Jordan Wharf in Guimaras to catch a “special trip” nighttime pump boat ride to Iloilo City. My sister-in-law Alida was in the back seat.
An American was arrested this week in Iloilo after applying for a NBI Clearance. Instead of getting a clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation, the 52-year-old American from Hollywood, California, received a “go directly to jail” card.
I’m excited about Globe’s new sensational super duper internet plan, which is simply called “The Plan”. Brothers and Sisters in the congregation, lift up your hands and shout “Amen!” It’s a joyous day for this American expat in the Philippines. I’m more excited than Thor at a two-for-one sale on hammers!
Electrifying El Nido is a first class municipality located in the province of Palawan in the Philippines. It is about 420 kilometers (260 mi) south-west of Manila, and about 238 kilometers (148 mi) north-east of Puerto Princesa, Palawan’s capital. It’s known for its white-sand beaches, coral reefs and limestone cliffs.
