18 Candles. 18 Roses. 18 Treasures. My wife and I had been invited to the 18th Birthday celebration for Cousin Emma’s daughter, Kristine Ann. But when I saw the invitation and my name listed under the “18 Treasures” category, I asked my wife what was going on.
Beers. A babe. And Guimaras. The only element in abundance during my recent visit to the mango province with The Tom Cat a week ago last Friday was beer. And rain. A deluge that dogged us all day. But my American expat friend and I dodged our usual dives and headed for a posh hotel at the New Site in San Miguel, Zemkamps Chalet, after a lunch at our favorite eatery, Lisa's Talabahan.
Is the premier dating website, Cherry Blossoms, right for you, whether you be a single man or single Filipina? A recent remark by Lee, got me thinking. And that doesn’t happen very often. “Dave, at this point I am a little nervous to unleash ‘Baby Sister’ on Cherry Blossom. She is 19 but she hasn’t ‘fallen off of the pineapple truck’ yet, so to speak.” A previous post regarding this Asian dating site has generated over 100 comments thus far and contains many informative remarks from readers that have used this dating website.

Cute Filipinas from Iloilo City on an island hopping tour off Guimaras. Though I recently posted an article on this topic last month, I didn’t think my readers would object to more pictures, courtesy of my niece, April. That’s her in the following photo, far right, next to the pretty pinay in blue.
Here’s more fine filipinas that I observed at the Manggahan Festival held in the sweet mango province of the Philippines this past April. The young lady pictured below gladly posed for this photo as she clung to her cute baby daughter.

(BPCI), will be held on April 14, 2013 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. Miss Universe-Philippines 2012 Janine Tugonon, Binibining Pilipinas-International 2012 Nicole Schmitz, and Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism 2012 Katrina Dimaranan will crown their successors at the end of the event (source: Wikipedia.)
Faithful readers, sometimes an article grabs my attention so forcefully that I feel compelled to share it with my readers immediately. As I was checking the latest news from Yahoo! Sports Philippines, I felt I would be performing a grave disservice for my male audience if I delayed publishing the following post and images. This story could not be delayed and put on “Filipino Time.”
What better way to spend a sunny Sunday than at a Philippines beach? White sand, cold bottles of San Miguel Pale Pilsen and gorgeous girls all around makes for a very enjoyable day of relaxation. Fortunately, I have a very patient and understanding asawa, who is the chief staff photographer at PhilippinesPlus, and relinquished her duties for the day to me.
Brother Tom is no longer with us. No, he's not gone onto a better place, my American expat friend is dropping the "brother" from his name. He wants to be known simply as "Tom" now. I think it is most inappropriate to not have a nickname in the Philippines, as most Filipinos here do, so I will refer to him as "Tom Cat" now.
