Hot Filipina Band Members at The Manggahan Festival in Guimaras

Saw this band from Iloilo  The Manggahan Festival in Guimaras this past Monday evening. The group sounded great, and as you can tell, it had two absolutely cute Filipina band members. I was snapping photos faster than Kirstie Alley at an all-you-can-eat buffet. I'll admit that even if the music was terrible, which it wasn't,  I would have liked this band for two obvious reasons.

I'll shut up for a minute and let you check out the rest of the photos I took.

The two beautiful Filipinas also sang some lead vocals, along with the guy in the middle. Both ladies were very attractive, but if I had to pick my favorite, it would be the pretty pinay on the left. I failed to get the name of the group but did note they play at the Ocean City Restaurant in Iloilo. When I check the website for Guimaras and click on the schedule of events for the festival, every band is listed as a "live band." That's not much help in identifying them.

Would love to check out that restaurant the band plays at,  but The Sainted Patient Wife would no doubt guess that I have ulterior motives. However, if I explain I'm going to do a special article for this website and buy her a nice dinner, I might be able to get away with it. I'll keep you posted on that venture. I've got it made in the Philippines, don't I?

  1. Takes music appreciation to a whole new level.

  2. Sure does, Tony, my only regret is that I didn’t try to get my picture taken with the ladies, however, I DID get my photo take with our Miss Guimaras 2011. More on that later.

  3. I must say, those Pinays are really good at their balancing to be able to dance with those high heels :) And that was one thing I noticed in PI. Hard to get lower heels shoes, a majority are stilettos or at least 3 inch heels. Or if you want flats, go for flip flops :)

  4. Nice pics Dave, she seems to be looking straight at you in the third photo. And there is nothing wrong with taking your wife out for a nice seafood dinner, coincidences happen. :)

  5. Christine, I was amazed at how well coordinated these young ladies were despite the high heels. I didn’t know that about shoes in the Philippines, however, but I’m sure my asawa does. I haven’t been a pair of real shoes in over four years, I just wear the vinyl slippers.

  6. Thanks, Lance, I think she probably was looking straight at me, too, just don’t tell the asawa. How did you know we were planning a trip to a certain seafood restaurant in Illoilo soon?

  7. Lucky guess :)

  8. WOW! Those girls have legs all the way up to their, well you know what I mean. Like wow. :-)

  9. So I scroll back up to look at the photos again and what do I see??? An ad for “tasty treats.” How did you do that Dave??? Yep! Tasty treats for sure.

  10. Yeah, I’m pretty sure she was giving me the eye, Lance. If you would have been in the crowd she would have been all over you like stink on a pig.

  11. And the asawa wondered why the camera battery was on “low batt” when I got done with photographing the band, Gary. Go figure!

  12. Karma, Gary, good karma.

  13. My lucky day :)

  14. Hope you recharged it overnight so you could get more pics the next day

  15. Dave

You could have asked the nice Pinays if you could come up on the stage and sing a Duo with them and to top it off have your asawa take a photo of it hahaha. good post as usual!

  16. You bet I did, Lance, as soon as I got home.

  17. I was tempted to get a picture of them with me, Papa Duck, but had not imbibed enough Red Horses at that time to get on stage and sign a duo. Good idea, however.

    Gents,
I can’t help but laugh like crazy. You guys sound like you’re in your twenty’s talking about girls …. I mean “chicks” or “foxes”. I’d like to add “broad” or “dame ” but that’s past everyone’s generation. Love this site. Y’all be cool now ya hear.

  19. Yeah, Rick, one thing you’ll find out about me and some of the other guys, we make no attempt at being “politically correct.” ;-)
