Cute Filipina and Her Two Melons
Today's featured videos are instructional. One depicts a cute Filipina showing the proper way to cut a melon. She displays two gorgeous melons in this clip, and for some reason the camera man wants to do closeups focusing on something other than the melons on the counter. Well, you'll just have to check out the video to get the full picture. As a bonus, the same young lady is featured in an additional video which exposes us to the proper way to cut a papaya. Evidently the same camera guy did this video as you will again see what the camera focuses on. Hope you guys don't mind a couple of food preparation lessons for today as a change of pace. Gotta love those melons! Oh, yeah, and papayas, too.

Reminds me of a time I was watching Martha Stewart and she held up a couple cantaloupes, showing off how full and ripe they were … after a couple seconds of holding one in each hand, right in front of ‘her melons’ (which aren’t nearly so ripe and full, she suddenly realized what she was doing, put the melons down and cut away to a commercial … but then again, maybe she did know what she was doing, after all, how many men remember _any_ other scene from a Martha Stewart show? “It’s a Good Thing” LoL.

Dave I am really glad you posted these two videos as they prove a point I have known for such a long time. Did you notice the LARGE melons?? Did you notice that they were nice to LOOK at?? Then she cuts them up into bite sized pieces so the melons can be enjoyed. What is my point?? Anything over a mouth full is a waste.
Funny Martha story, Dave! Sorry I missed that one. Sounds like the usually reserved Martha got shaken up a bit.

Is she from the Visayas? I can’t seem to pinpoint her accent.. Usually I’d recognize an ilongo right away by the accent. I must be distracted or something. Salivating and craving for ripe melons is what it is….lol I could almost taste it….lol Nice 1 Dave!
She could be from the Visayas region, Eric. I want back to the YouTube source but couldn’t find any additional information. Great video, I really learned a lot about the proper way to handle melons.
